I purchased all of the Rosebud rooms to go with a Ryans Room Dollhouse for my 3 year old. I was attracted to these rooms over the other lines of wood furniture (Ryans Room, Plan Toys) because of the soft colors and lots of little details such as towels for the bathroom, tea set for the kitchen, computer for the desk. When the toys arrived two of the rooms had so many broken pieces that I had to return them (back to this later). The rest were either in good condition or easily repaired so we kept them. I immediately put most of the smaller more breakable pieces (dishes, children's toys, etc) aside for later. My daughter loves playing with her dolls in the different rooms but within two weeks three pieces have broken! My daughter is three and not the gentlest kid in the world, however the doll house is in a carpeted room and she has really tried to take good care of her new toys. I would return everything except that she really enjoys playing with her new doll furniture. So, I will continue to repair. Now, back to the returned pieces. I was assured by the Amazon agent with whom I spoke to arrange the return of the rooms that arrived in broken condition that there were more of the same rooms available to replace the ones I was returning. I explained to her that I was not interested in keeping any of the rooms if this was not the case because all of the rooms coordinate and are part of the "Rosebud" line. So... imagine my dismay when I looked to buy them and saw that the items were unavailable! Pros: very cute and feminine lots of sweet details hours of fun play Con: poorly constructed My daughter is thrilled but I am disappointed.

What can you say about Uncle John's that hasn't been said? Always entertaining, thoroughly engaging. This one especially drew me in with an extended series on the history of football. I noticed more spelling errors than usual while reading this one, but the content as always was great.

I hate reading... Specially a couple pages at a time while sitting on the John... however this book is awesome... It is perfect for those long sittings and those short sittings... :)

If you're looking for something unique, different, and just a little crazy I'd most certainly suggest Uncle John's Supremely Satisfying Bathroom Reader. Described as a zany mix of trivia, strange but true stories, hilarious things people just had to and so much more! It's sectioned off into a wide variety of topics and lengths making it a possible reading choice whether you've only got a minute or two or a whole hour (and of course everything in between). Best of all I found all of the different articles equally interesting. Things which I would never even consider reading became personal favorites which I've read again and again. I can say completely honestly that this book actually has something for everyone! Despite the title I found that you can take this book anywhere, which means of course you'll find it evenly "satisfying" on your couch or in bed. Please take the chance to enjoy this fabulous book!

I recently received a copy of the book as a gift. This is certainly not the type of book I would buy for myself and reading this volume has not changed that. While mildly amusing and certainly successful in giving me an occasional case of "gluteus circulus" aka buttcheek ring from prolonged sitting, this SUPREMELY SATISFYING edition failed to win me over as a repeat reader. Not that I found that much fault with this book, and I'm sure it has a great following of readers, I just like my mind enhancement non-fiction reading to be a bit more substantial. I must also point out the flawed editing (or lack thereof) contained here. Typos abound and, while irritating, I can tolerate typos better than I can unsubstantiated material passed down as factual. For example, on page 114 in a short vignette on famous last words, William Bonney (Billy the Kid) is cited. Over a century after his supposed death, there still remains a dispute as to just exactly who lies in Bonney's grave. If we lack conclusive proof that Pat Garrett did in fact, kill Billy the Kid, than how can the publisher say with certainty what his last words were? This is just one example to illustrate that the reader may want to accept the contents with a grain of salt. In fact, the publisher even goes so far as to point out past faux pas' found in previous volumes! As I mentioned, there is a certain degree of amusement to be found here and the publisher did make a good attempt to include a wide variety of subjects. This is the type of reading Cliff Clavin would have loved. There is certainly water cooler (or neighborhood tavern) knowledge to be gleaned here. I just wouldn't bet the farm on its accuracy.

If you have even spent a little time in your life reading newspapers, magazines, the net, etc you will have seen 99% of these trivia lists and items. Save your money so you can buy a better quality toilet paper.

People obviously do not read the entire page of information before purchasing a product. In the title it is calld "Miniature Edition" Also in the Product description it gives the book dimensions. So pay attention to what you buy. I recieved this as a gift and loved it! Filled with random information and funny notes and riddles it kept me entertained. I will be purchasing the larger, regular version of this book after reading the miniature.

I bought this book for my dad as a Christmas gift and I'm now returning it because it's tiny! It fits in the palm of my hand! It's like 2x2 inches, completely small. I wouldn't even call this a book. No where on the page does it state this is a "mini book" and it should right in the title! Instead, if you happen to read the dimensions of books you're ordering (I know I don't!) then you'll see that it is indeed a tiny book. But who actually reads the dimensions of a book?? It's not necessary. So just beware. This book is TINY!

I usually love the Bathroom Readers. This is a tiny useless book, and should not even get to carry the Bathroom Reader name. It was a complete waste of money, for the same price on Amazon do yourself a favor and get the regular size book.

Really - who would buy this book used??? It's not worth the $1.59 price tag. Buying rubber gloves in order to read this book would double the price!

Alright...it's my fault, I did not notice the size of the book before ordering. This is a book about 1/2 the size of a pack of cigarettes. I read it cover to cover in a half an hour. Not worth the price, I threw it away.
